Presentation of the company

Created in 2011, Novae Aerospace Industry is active in the aerospace industry. The company, managed by the Taveau family, employs 150 people and is based in Prunay. Novae Aerospace Industry, which has existed since 1946, was integrated into the Novae Group in 2011. Sébastien Taveau has been Executive Chairman of the Novae Group for 16 years and Cédric, CEO of the group for 8 years.

The main activities of the company are :

• assembling
• painting
• coating structures.

The company works with Airbus and Dassault and is referenced as a Tier 1 subcontractor of the manufacturers.

On 23rd November 2017, the Reims site was hit by a major fire that completely destroyed the TS (Treatment and Surface) building and the TS line.

This month, the Novae Group decided to sell 100% of the capital and voting rights to a new company, Together, which will be majority owned by the Taveau family and the balance by ACI Industry.

Created in 2019, ACI Industry is the result of the industrial consolidation of Tier 2 and 3 regional SMEs specialized in special processes such as grinding, drilling, lapping, painting, welding and unit machining of complex parts and tools.

The directors of ACI are :

• Philippe Riviere, 15 years of management at Aubert and Duval, founder of Prismadd (a major player in the manufacture of additives) and former president WeAre International ;
• Patrice Rives, 25 years in the aeronautics sector, the ATR group for 10 years. The Airbus group, 9 years of engineering and 7 years of purchasing management in mechanical subcontracting.

Project Description

The company requests 350 000 € to finance investments on the Reims site to support the increase in activity on NAI, following the merger with the ACI group. This project will be realised next month.

As a reminder, the October lending community supported Novae Aerospace industry in october 2016 with 1 500 000 € to finance an automatic riveting machine and the development of a manufacturing line for elementary titanium partsThis project is a Flexible Bridge Loan, an amortizable loan with a standard commitment for the first 9 months and the possibility of early repayment at no cost for the remainder of the loan term, even in the event of refinancing by other financial institutions.

The amount offered on the platform is limited to 171 500€, which is in line with the regulatory limits.
