Presentation of the company

Created in 1988, the Astradec Environnement group is active in the waste treatment sector. The group, managed by Eric Bee has 200 employees and is based in Arques.

The Astradec Environnement group is specialized in the collection and valorization of waste.

The group’s main activity are :

• Collection and transport: the collection in all its forms of waste and materials from customers (households, municipal waste centres and companies, professional waste centres and Astradec Environnement metal reception centres) and their transport to Astradec Environnement’s treatment sites, recycling sectors and disposal centres.

• Valorization and services: services of recycling, valorization, reduction of waste volumes with the objective of developing dedicated recycling channels.

• Research department: research into new valorization channels , monitoring of regulatory procedures
• Sanitation and industrial cleaning: cleaning of septic tanks, maintenance of rainwater and wastewater networks, drains, etc.

In addition to these businesses, there are also cross-functional activities including the transport of materials.

These different activities of the group are spread over its 12 operating sites (7 waste treatment sites and 5 recycling sites) located in the Nord Pas de Calais region, Bourgogne and the central regionThe company works with about a hundred customers. Its customers are mainly companies and local authorities with whom the Group signs multi-year waste treatment contracts.

The waste treatment market in France is a continuously growing market due to ecological constraints. However, it remains dominated by two historical players, Suez and Veolia.

The Astradec group stands out from this competition by its well-established market shares in Nord Pas de Calais (multi-year contracts generating more than €16 million in revenue) and its expertise in waste treatment and recovery.

The group benefits from the support of institutional investors such as the Haut de France region, via convertible bonds.

Project Description

The company requests 2 000 000 € to finance a partial share repurchase on its group. This project will be realised in the next few months.

This project is a Flexible Bridge Loan, an amortizable loan with a standard commitment for the first 9 months and the possibility of early repayment at no cost for the remainder of the loan term, even in the event of refinancing by other financial institutions.
