Warning Lending money to SMEs presents a risk of capital loss and requires your savings to be immobilised.
New Office Centre Beheer B. V. is the holding company set up in 2018 to acquire Staples Nederland and Staples Germany active in the office supplies sector. New Office Centre Beheer B. V. , managed by Frans Davelaar, has 1500 employees and is based in Almere.
Mr. Frans Davelaar, managing director, has overall 13 years of professional experience in the sector. Previously, he was managing director at KantoorExpert.
The company’s main activity is sale of office supplies.
The company works with large suppliers from all over the world and serves SME’s in the Netherlands and Germany with 93 stores and a webshop. The company recently acquired Staples Netherlands (39 stores) in 2018 and Staples Germany (54 stores) in 2019. The stores are located in the business areas of the larger cities, ensuring a national coverage in the Netherlands and Germany.
New Office Centre sells a wide range of office supplies, like paper, electronics, office furniture and storage. The shops includes in-store shops of telecomproviders, IT providers and postal companies.
The company requests 1. 500. 000 € with 6 months of deferred repayment to finance its growthplan (including inventory, rebranding and in- store shops). This project will be realised in the next few months.
This project is a medium-term loan with a capital amortisation deferment and as such presents a different method of capital repayment than standard projects. The first 6 months, the lenders will only receive interest; the following 30 months, the lenders will receive interest and principal amortization. This principal repayment profile matches the borrower’s financing needs while allowing lenders to earn a higher amount of interest.
As part of their future investment plan, the borrower comes back to the October platform within the coming quarters, up to a maximum exposure of 3. 000. 000 €.
The amount offered on the platform is limited to 735000€, which is in line with the regulatory limits.
