Created in 2010, Davia S.p.a. is active in the food sector. The company, managed by Andrea Vitiello has 57 employees and is based in Gragnano.

Mr. Andrea Vitiello, managing director, has overall 25 years of professional experience in the sector.

The company’s main activities are:

  • processing, packaging and sale of tomato products.
  • Packing and selling of other vegetable products.
  • Packaging and selling of pasta.

The company works with iitalian and foreign distributors of large and medium size who sell its branded and white label products.

Davia is committed to maintaining a high quality standard for its production. The company has, in fact, obtained prestigious international quality certifications: BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and IFS Food.

Project Description

The company requests 200.000 € with 3 months of deferred repayment to finance the acquision of a new production machine to increase production capacity. This project will be realised in the next few months.

As a reminder, the October lending community supported Davia SpA in November 2017 with 600 000 € to finance the purchase cost of a new property and the renovation costs necessary to use the property as a warehouse. The loan is in regular amortization.

At least 40% of the risk of this loan is covered by a guarantee from the Republic of Italy via the Fondo di Garanzia PMI.

The amount offered on the platform is limited to 98.000€, which is in line with the regulatory limits.

This project is part of a funding operation with a cumulative amount of €400,000. The additional amount is reserved to institutional investors of the October Italy Fund (read more). The overall average interest rate for the company is 5,34%.
