Balhoofd B. V. / MotoPort Amsterdam is active in the motorcycle sector. The company, managed by Rolf Selling has 10 employees and is based in Amsterdam- Duivendrecht. The company has been in the family since 1946 and Rolf Selling is part of the third generation leading the business since 2014. The family Selling is a well-known family in the motorcycle industry for generations, this also the reason that the name of the dealer will change as of 01-01-2021 to Selling Motors.

The company’s main activities are:

  • Sale of new and second hand motorcycles.
  • Sale of new and second hand motorscooters.
  • Repairs, maintenance and storage.
  • Sales of motorclothes, motorparts and rental of motors.

The company works with large motorcycle-brands as Honda and Suzuki.

Project Description

The company requests €200,000 to finance the refurbishment of the Honda division of the showroom and the refinancing of a Funding Circle loan. This project will be realised in the next few months.

This project is a Flexible Bridge Loan, an amortizable loan with a standard commitment for the first 9 months and the possibility of early repayment at no cost for the remainder of the loan term, even in the event of refinancing by other financial institutions.

The amount offered on the platform is limited to €98,000, which is in line with the regulatory limits.
